Self-adhesive labels, also known as pressure-sensitive labels, are made from paper, film, or specialty materials coated with an adhesive and backed by a release liner. Once the liner is removed, the label can be easily applied to a wide range of surfaces with a simple press—no glue, water, or additional tools required. For high-volume applications, these labels can also be applied automatically using labeling machines.
